There are 4 TVs in the house, each connected with Roku for streaming. The TV in the primary bedroom is an LG StandbYMe — it can be moved around the room but please keep it in the bedroom. We have Ripple fiber internet with high-speed bandwidth for all your devices.

If you can, please put the trash out for pickup on the appropriate days — it would be much appreciated!

If there are extra trash bags outside of those in the kitchen cans, please take them down to the recycling or trash bins under the house.
Guidelines
House rules.
- Please respect the community — no loud parties or events
- No smoking and nothing illegal
- No open flames or fires aside from grilling in the designated area (lots of pine straw outside!)

Before you leave.
- No need to strip the beds — just put used towels in the tub
- Take out all trash from bins; if it's Sunday or Thursday, please roll the can outside
- Turn off all lights and lock all doors

Parking.
Please park only in the designated driveway areas. Avoid blocking neighbors or the street.
Outdoor
Beach gear & bikes.
There's a great stash of beach gear on the first floor near the washer and dryer. Help yourself to any beach chairs, umbrellas, the cooler, toys, boogie boards, and bikes — just rinse off any sand and return everything where you found it.
Bike Locks
If you take the bikes out, please remember the locks! The code for each lock is written on the lock itself.

Comfort
Linens & extras.
We think one of the very best parts of a vacation is a comfy bed, fluffy towels, and a cozy robe. We've tested many brands to find the best — we hope you love them. Extra linens and towels are in the bathroom linen closets and bedroom closets.

Batteries, lightbulbs, and tools are in the emergency kit in the cabinet below the microwave.
Climate
HVAC & fireplace.
Please keep doors and windows closed when the AC is running. The fireplace is gas and operated via the remote on the living room table — instructions are on the remote.

The grill.
There's a charcoal grill in the area under the house. Grilling equipment is stored nearby. Please clean up after grilling and put everything back in its place.

Duck is a boutique beach town — most people do a big grocery run on the way in. There's a fridge upstairs and a larger one downstairs.

Private for the Sanderling community and dogs are welcome. Lifeguards on duty 10am–6pm, May 1–October 31. All beach gear is on the first floor near the washer and dryer — chairs, cooler, canopy, toys, and towels. Please return everything to the same spot.
Sanderling Racquet & Swim Club

A great option when you want a break from the ocean. As our guests, you're welcome to use the main pool, kids' wading pool, tennis courts, and sound-side docks. Pool hours 9am–6pm, tennis/docks 8am–6pm (mid-May through mid-October). Guest passes required — check in at the front window. No lifeguards on duty. Kids under 14 must be supervised. Tennis courts reservable at the front desk (~$25/hour guest fee). No alcohol, glass containers, large floats, or diapers in the main pool.
